Your Inner Fish: A Journey into the 3.5-Billion-Year History of the Human Body – Neil Shubin

This book is absolutely fascinating!! All the facts discussed in this book, linking humans to different species throughout time is just mind blowing. This book describes the evolutionary path of how we came to be. Why we have certain organs. Why they are located in specific areas of our bodies. Why we have some organs that we don’t even use anymore. This book gives a great description of where we came from and even why we have some of the diseases and anatomical problems we have today, such as arthritis and other bone issues. This book was extremely interesting to read. Of course I know that evolution is just a theory, and this book even discusses the missing links that scientists cannot find in our history. But that does not mean it’s not a good read. Enjoy!
